Margaret Thatcher Exposed The Infantile Illusions Of Socialism

Socialism, or any form of Collectivism, is like a honey bee hive.  The people are like worker bees with duties to their hive, but with no rights.  The ruling elite live in opulence (witness the “vacations” of the Obama family) while the people live in poverty.  As proof, witness any Collectivist dictatorship in the last century.  No individual freedom inevitably results in poverty for all of the people.  The prosperity of a nation is proportional to its freedom.

When an individual is unable to grow his financial assets to benefit himself and his family (according to Socialists, his children belong to the community), he has no incentive to work hard.  When all of his financial gains are “redistributed” to others who work less hard or less ably, he will eventually cease to be industrious because the State legally prevents him from pursuing his happiness.

Obama has said that he will “fundamentally transform America.”  His Socialist ideal is a honey bee hive, with himself in charge, of course.  The opposite ideal is a free society based on individual rights as envisioned by our Founding Fathers.  This is the essence of the polarization in America today.  Margaret Thatcher’s great legacy was that she fought well for the side of rights and freedom.

So, are you a dutiful honey bee, or a sovereign individual citizen with inalienable rights?  You must choose a side, and note that a worker bee has no choice because he is not free.  Sitting on the fence makes you irrelevant as history passes you by.  Choose, while you still can.
