It’s called “push back”. Most Americans are tolerant and slow to anger, but this is what happens when some of them are pushed too far. This article also reveals the nature of most so-called jihadis. They are cowards.
Americans need to explicitly understand the “reason or force principle”. The bottom line is that there are only two ways to deal with another human being: reason or force. When anyone demonstrates through their words or actions that they have rejected reason, you have no choice but to deal with them in the only way that they themselves allow, and that is with force. Another saying is now applicable: “Violence is rarely the answer. But, when it is the answer, it is the only answer.” And don’t expect my violence to be “reasonable”!
It is in this context that we can understand why so many freedom loving Americans have adopted the Gadsden flag which says, “Don’t Tread on Me”. Another popular saying is the classical expression of defiance from the 300 Spartans at Thermopylae, “Molon Labe”. When the Persian king commanded the vastly outnumbered 300 to lay down their weapons, a Spartan warrior responded, “Come and take them”.
Radical Islamists are irrational in their demands and goals because their religion is based on mysticism–which is the opposite of reason. They only understand physical force. That is why negotiation and persuasion with them is pointless. They will negotiate only when they know they are weaker and are stalling for time. When confronted with such an enemy, attack! Attack now with overwhelming force and annihilate them–before they do the same to you. That is all they understand. Too many Americans have become pseudo “civilized” and do not understand this. Those who would give up a few of their freedoms in order to not offend the irrational don’t deserve those freedoms.
